Tom Karstensen

Tom started at Thompson Wentworth in May 2017 to review the businesses previous Body Corporate workflow, implement improvements to the facilities and project help-desk system, and to prepare the Body Corporate data for the transition to a new asset information management platform.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Forestry Science from the University of Canterbury and has a background in construction, logistics and asset management. Tom has founded and operated a number of start-ups in various sectors over the past 10 years, most recently in construction where he ran his own construction and contracting company.  Tom is well versed in implementing and improving systems to provide efficient and streamlined workflows and increased productivity within teams. He is interested in small business growth, investment analysis, and asset and project management.

Tom leads the Body Corporate Management business, providing advisory and operational management services for our Body Corporate Clients, as well as individuals and companies. This includes Body Corporate operational management, advisory and compliance services, dispute resolution, complex insurance claim management and scoping, pricing and project management of EQC and private sector insurance supported repair and remediation solutions to Earthquake Claims.
